Parent Infant Massage Classes

Sign up for Parent Infant Massage Classes. Parents will learn the simple art of infant massage in a class designed for newborns birth to 12 months of age. You will learn how to read your infant cues, understand your infant’s behavioral states, techniques for relaxation and the colic routine. Free Urban Moms Support Group

Eco Baby Gear & LovingTouch is pleased to offer a “Free” Urban Moms Support Group in the LovingTouch Classroom every Wednesday from 11:00am-12:30pm. New moms are invited to come and participate in this ongoing group.
Details: Mothers coming together to learn, laugh and love their babies in a joyful and safe space. An ongoing discussion group for mothers with babies up to 3 years, will include topics such as expectation and realities in mothering, the emotional journey of new moms, growth and development of infants, learning parenting skills through sharing, forming long-term playgroups, and playing with and caring for your new baby.

This class allows parents and caregivers to learn ASL alongside their 2-4 year old child. Families learn functional phrases and vocabulary through books, group games, songs and more!

This class will emphasize the innate strength and awareness pregnant women possess in order to handle the physical and emotional changes that accompany pregnancy, labor and delivery. Through yoga based stretching and meditation, our instructor will create an environment of physical and emotional support that will help to carry a woman through her journey of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood.

Being a mother, especially a new mother, is very exciting but adjusting to all the new changes can be both physically and emotionally challenging. In this class we will use gentle yoga poses to re-acquaint yourself with your non-pregnant body, help you release tension & stress so you can better relax, and build strength and stamina to help handle the demands of parenting a newborn. Meditation and guided visualizations will help to calm the mind and soothe the emotions, bringing a greater sense of peace and confidence while assisting you in coping with fatigue and hormonal changes. You will also meet other new mamas and have the opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another and most importantly, support each other through the amazing journey of motherhood.
